Over the years, God has worked in the lives of our staff to give them hearts that treasure all that God is for them in Christ. He has uniquely prepared each of them to lead the ministry of Berean Bible Church so that we can work together as a team to spread a life-changing passion for Christ.

Meet Our Staff!

Our Pastor and his family came to Berean Bible Church in September of 2001. is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He has previous pastoral experience in Michigan and Minnesota. Pastor Scott and his wife, Kristen, have three girls.

Our Pastor of Youth and Children's Ministries and his family came to Berean Bible Church in August of 2006. Pastor Mat is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College in Bradley, West Virginia. He has a Bachelor's Degree in both Youth Ministries and Family Counseling. Pastor Mat and his wife, Esther, have one daughter.

Our church family in Grand Island began on June 13th of 1992. Six couples met together for prayer and to discuss the possibility of starting a church. Several volunteered to search for a suitable meeting place. We are grateful to both the School Board and the Superintendent of Northwest High School for allowing us to rent a space in which to meet. The first service at the high school was held on July 28th of 1992 with 55 people attending. God greatly blessed their efforts and soon more than one hundred people were meeting together for worship and Bible study. We moved into our present facility at 4116 West Capital Avenue in 1995.
